Fabrum Distinctive Houses, the residential arm of Artisan (UK) Developments Ltd, is making good progress on a new residential development in Burwell, Cambridgeshire, which will be known as Mandeville Farm.
Just 5 miles from Newmarket and 12 miles north east Cambridge, Burwell is an attractive and popular semi-rural location for families due to its selection of local schools, proximity to Cambridge and excellent transport links. Burwell itself has a good range of amenities with local shops and cafes mainly centred on the High Street and North Street Burwell, including a cafe, bakery, butchers, post office and library.
The development is for five large family homes of approximately 2,500 sq ft each. Three will be four bedroom barn style properties with two, five bedroom cottage style houses. The design and layout of the development reflects the rural location and draws on the site’s former use as a farm yard.
